How our images are made
Maker Frontier produces and publishes the editorial images on Headless Thrones. Our hero illustrations are AI-generated; their article and gallery pages identify the image model, full generation prompt, selection rationale and AI illustration caption. Visual summaries are rendered in code from the reviewed article headline and summary, using an AI-designed layout. They are not a second image-model generation.
The Maker Frontier production credit does not replace those AI disclosures or identify an AI byline as a human photographer. AI-generated illustrations are not photographs documenting events.
Terms for using an image
Maker Frontier retains only the rights it actually holds in an image, its design or arrangement. We do not claim that every AI-generated image has exclusive copyright protection. Third-party material, trademarks and other protected elements remain subject to their own rights and permissions.
This page does not grant a blanket Creative Commons or other reuse license. Where permission from Maker Frontier is required, it is granted only by a written agreement identifying the image and permitted use. A download link, public prompt, production credit or an unanswered request is not that agreement. We cannot grant rights belonging to someone else.
Nothing here limits fair use, quotation, public-domain use or another use permitted by applicable law. Our site terms on content and third-party rights also apply.
Request permission
Email [email protected] with the subject “Image permission request.” Include the image URL and source article, where and how you intend to use it, your intended changes, and whether the use is commercial. Tell us the planned audience or distribution and any timing requirements.
We will assess the request and the rights we can offer. Any permission must be confirmed in writing and covers only the uses and rights specified there. A credit or link to Headless Thrones does not by itself grant permission or clear third-party rights.
Questions or rights concerns
If you believe an image affects your rights or its credit is incorrect, email [email protected] with the exact image or page URL and supporting information. Our contact page explains what helps us investigate. Please do not send unnecessary personal information.
